The clients requested a family friendly space with coastal touches and a fresh feel. We layered fresh colors, coastal-inspired textures, all with durable finishes and fabrics that are made to stand up against constant use. Custom built-ins painted in a poppy green, custom upholstered chairs in blue block-print, and a custom sofa in the perfect plaid that ties the whole color scheme together are all balanced with warm white walls and white-washed stone fireplace. The custom built mantel modernizes the rock facade, while the soft hand-tufted wool rug softens and invites that cozy, coastal charm.

A long, narrow space presented a layout challenge. Our solution was creating a layout that divided the function of the space into three useful zones, while maintaining the openness of the room and connecting the design to the rest of the surrounding spaces.

Nothing brings attention to a space like the perfect wallpaper! We paired this watery stripe with warm rattan textures contrasted with a crisp high lacquer table for modern design that is as inviting as it is cool.
